Restrict Time Clock to a Specific IP Address

We use the time clock and have the issue that employees are clocking in and out from home or while on the go.
How can we prevent this?

If you notice that over a longer period (several weeks) the accesses from the hotel always come from the same IP address and this IP address is highlighted in green, then your hotel has a static IP address that has been recognized by the system as the main IP. You can use this to ensure that employees can only clock in and out from within the hotel or the hotel Wi-Fi:

Go to the staff schedule settings:

Settings/duty-roster

Enter the “main IP address” in the option “Restrict IP address.”

From now on, employees can only record the start and end of their working hours within the hotel.

If you do not have a static IP address, such a restriction is not possible. In this case, it is recommended to review the login records and perform spot checks to determine whether employees have incorrectly recorded their working hours:
